Mia grew up following in the footsteps of her mother, Jan Paccapaniccia, another successful cosmetologist and Salon. Mia has over twenty years experience as a stylist and ABCH colorist, and Brazilian Blowout Specialist, satisfying a large clientele base, with her professional expertise and devotion to customer service.
In 2004, Mia and her husband, Gary Emery, purchased the salon formerly known as “The Hawk’s Nest.” It is now known as “Michael Shae Salon & Day Spa,” which is named after their children Logan Michael and Macee Shae. As the new owners, Mia and Gary believe that customer service is the number one trait of a healthy business.
